Northern Boulevard in Jackson Heights and Corona is one of the most visible food truck stretches in Queens — and one of the most talked about by word of mouth. That reputation is exactly why we picked it to launch Ruta Callejera: NYC Truck Trail.
But word of mouth and a verified directory are two different things. Right now, our own research has only confirmed two trucks with a public footprint directly on Northern Blvd — Latino Bites and Tacos Bravos NY. The "30+ trucks" figure that inspired this project in the first place still needs a real walk-through of the corridor, block by block.
That’s the honest starting point. As trucks sign up through the "List your truck" form, this hub page will fill in with confirmed hours, locations and permit status — reported by the owners themselves, not guessed at from the outside.
Other corridors — Warren St’s Ecuadorian stretch near the Junction Blvd 7 train, Corona Plaza, and Red Hook’s long-running ball field vendors in Brooklyn — are already mapped in our system and will open as their own hubs next.
